For almost 1000 years the castle has dominated the valley and given the village the appearance of an unassailable citadel. Since the Middle Ages, the castle has undergone numerous alterations, but the
major works date from the Renaissance.
Today the castle is a space dedicated to art exhibitions and is one of the jewels of the luberon’s renaissance architecture.
